Upgrade any DL4 (purchased before June 2018) to a non-magnetic faceplate. Includes a retractable metal spacer and snap-on faceplate with 10 mm reticle. Made from an ultra-durable polymer, the faceplate is designed to be used with typical water and alcohol-based immersion fluids and gels.
Note: Requires removal of existing spacer, which you may or may not be able to do yourself. To remove the spacer, unscrew the silver retaining ring, then extend the spacer by turning the DL4 dial until you can carefully remove the spacer from the device. If you are unable to remove the ring, send your DL4 to our service center along with a completed Repair Request Form.

If you're unable to remove the retaining ring, MoleMax Systems' service center can complete the conversion for you. Clinics in this situation should send their DL4 in along with a completed Repair Request Form.
This kit is for DL4 units that still have their original pre-June 2018 magnetic spacer and need converting to the non-magnetic snap-on system. If your DL4 already has a non-magnetic snap-on spacer, order the standard Snap-On Faceplate for DL4 instead — not this conversion kit.
A non-magnetic snap-on system removes metallic components from the faceplate assembly, avoiding potential corrosion or reaction risk from repeated exposure to immersion fluids and cleaning. It also aligns an older DL4 with the same faceplate standard used on current DL4 units and the DermLite Foto X.
