A co-operation with FotoFinder, the DermLite Handyscope® smartphone dermatoscope has been designed from the ground up to be the ultimate tool specifically designed for smartphones and tablets. Compatible with most Apple or Android smartphones or tablets right out of the box, the innovative device allows for DermLite-quality polarised & non-polarised dermoscopy and even clinical images illuminated by an on-board ultra-bright LED.
Attaching Handyscope to your smartphone or tablet of choice is easy. Simply attach the included adhesive-backed metal ring to your mobile device (or your hard plastic smartphone case) with the help of a template, and Handyscope’s integrated magnets achieve a secure hold. Each Handyscope set even includes three sets of MagnetiConnect® rings, allowing you to use the device on multiple smartphones or tablets instantly.
For your life outside dermoscopy, the ultra-thin metal ring doesn’t get in the way of attaching your very own favourite case. And should you ever want to remove the ring completely, its adhesive comes off without leaving any residue behind.
Since a limited number of smartphone models with a centrally positioned camera may be incompatible with the metal ring (such as the Samsung Galaxy S9+), each Handyscope set comes with adhesive metal “wings.”
Of course, Handyscope is compatible with all existing DermLite Connection Kits and the DermLite Universal Smartphone Adapter which works on any smartphone.
